Inclusive Science Education - Special Interest Group

The Inclusive science education group is for educators with an interest in teaching science to learners with special educational needs or additional learning needs. The group is built around a mailing list (sign up below) which is used to communicate with members of the group (it’s a low traffic group, we only send emails about the group to members).

We hold six meetings a year which we remind members of the group by sending emails through the mailing list. You are welcome to come to the meeting and listen, or you can come and join in and ask questions. Meetings are recorded for the purpose of making accurate notes only and the recording deleted afterwards (individual contributions are not identified). After each meeting we send a summary of key points through the mailing list.

It is organised by Rob Butler and Dr Jane Essex who both have an interest in this area of science education. Membership of this group is open to anyone, and we meet online roughly every two months.
