Supporting statement quotes

'ASE is a key player in the science community and over the last nine years I have been so proud to be a part of the organisation and everything it achieves. As a team, we play a crucial role in driving excellence, equity, and innovation in science education, ultimately contributing to the development of a scientifically literate society.

As Chair I will be able to draw upon my knowledge and experience from the varied roles I have held during my career in education, as a: teacher, teacher educator, associate professor, consultant, author and mentor. Working with stakeholders across key science organisations, such as PSQM and PSST, has equipped me with current expertise across the wider sector.

ASE has undergone many changes in recent years to adapt to the needs of our members and I am keen to work in partnership with the CEO and Chair Trio to strengthen the organisation’s position and secure its future.'
