Energy and the Global Goals

Two short activities to develop understanding of why energy is essential to achieving the new Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In these activities, students consider how energy is vital for a fair quality of life for all people, everywhere. They explore the Global Goals as a set of goals that were set by countries of the United Nations to try and alleviate world poverty. They explore the link between energy and poverty reduction and consider how they might play a part in reducing world poverty.
