Practical work is an important part of the UK science curriculum.  It teaches students to think scientifically, understand the relevance of what they are learning, engages them to follow science in the future and is a fundamental part of recognising how science has developed over history.

Practical work, however, can be challenging and many teachers lack confidence. There are many factors to consider like time management, language, classroom management, purpose and outcomes.

This network session provides you with an opportunity to discuss your own experiences of practical work and to hear from others about how they approach it.

Join us to learn, listen, ask questions and work together in this friendly space.

This is an online session and it will not be recorded.

We really hope to see you there.
