Are you new to the UK education system?  Are you training to teach having lived overseas?  Have you been working in a UK school to teach science having trained overseas? 

We are pleased to announce a year long programme of networking and support for teachers and trainees who are joining us from overseas – The ASE International Network.  Join our supportive networking community to help you to navigate your way through the UK education system from health and safety, assessment, behaviour management, pedagogy and more.  We will be a friendly face and a friendly space for you to ask questions, listen to others and learn.

As well as monthly networking opportunities, we will also be hosting a series of webinars to support you in your journey.  The first webinar is being delivered by AQA – one of the exam boards who write exams in England - Understanding Science Assessment in England.  The AQA team will provide an introduction to the science assessment system in the England – from GCSE to A-level.  We will look at the role of DfE, Ofqual , JCQ and Awarding organisations including AQA.  The webinar will take place on 15^th October 4pm – 5pm.

The International Trainees and Teachers in the UK Programme is free for ASE members.  All sessions will be held online.

We look forward to welcoming you to our monthly themed networks amongst friends to discuss your experiences, ask questions and learn from colleagues.
