Charlotte Roughton was awarded the RSci, Registered Scientist award and said,

‘Applying for professional registration was a pivotal step in my career journey, bridging my previous experiences as a PhD student, tutor, and my current role as a teaching technician. The process of completing my application allowed me to reflect on and highlight the skills and experiences I have gained throughout my career, as well as demonstrate my commitment to excellence in teaching science. Now, as a Registered Scientist, I feel a profound sense of achievement and validation as a professional in my field.’
