South East Asia Conference set to return this spring...

This day-long conference for secondary science teachers and technicians, in association with Phillip Harris, will now be returning to the Bangkok Patana School, Thailand on Friday, 17 March. It will feature online keynotes to top and tail the day of professional learning, with face-to-face sessions and opportunities to network throughout the rest of the programme, and an exhibition area as well.

The ASE’s commitment to excellence in science education is a goal that extends internationally, so the aim of this Conference is both to explore international strategies for teaching science, and to provide an opportunity for science-specific professional learning in the South East Asia area.

A host of science education experts will be sharing their insights with teachers, technicians and specialists based in the region, including a keynote from Professor Christine Harrison of King’s College London, a specialist strand for technicians delivered by Jackie McKie, Head Technician at Philip Harris, and a selection of 15 workshops, presentations, roundtables and JAWS to choose from.
