ASE are delighted to share that the Science Council has renewed our licence to administer the Professional Registration awards for Chartered Science Teacher (CSciTeach), Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) and Registered Scientist (RSci).

ASE’s Registrar for the awards Rob Butler said,

'As part of their standard review process, our licence was thoroughly reviewed and has been awarded to ASE for another five years. The panel were very impressed with the files presented and the questions answered by the ASE and did not have any actions to recommend.'

The professional awards can help to demonstrate an individual’s commitment to science education and has the following benefits:

  • Provides recognition of your expertise, experience and commitment
  • Provides a framework to support your future career development
  • Provides wider recognition for your skills
  • Demonstrates your commitment to employers, colleagues and clients
  • Creates a broader community of scientists working across a huge range of sectors and disciplines

We are running two introduction sessions to professional registration in September for interested teachers and technicians:

The ASE is delighted with this result as it reflects our commitment to continuing professional development. Our members get access to an exclusive CPD offer as part of their membership. For details of events next year visit our events listing
