We warmly invite all secondary teachers of science to join us on our new Included: Secondary online CPD programme. Over the course of 6 modules we will explore how to use inclusive practice to make your school welcoming and engaging to all pupils.

This programme draws on ASE’s experience through the Inclusion in Schools and Inclusion in Science programmes and offers you opportunities to:

  • Explore the biases and barriers some children may face and how you can anticipate, identify and remove them.
  • Learn strategies to make every child feel a sense of belonging and represented in their learning.
  • Reflect on your pedagogy and learn how different strategies can create a more inclusive learning environment
  • Bring your community and beyond into your classroom to inspire pupils about their futures.

    Welcoming, empowering, transformative

All sessions will be delivered remotely and during twilight by one of the ASE’s expert Equity in Science Education team. All sessions are 1.5 hours and include time for discussion, reflection and activities to apply your learning.
