Having obtained a grade 2 O-level in physics with chemistry at the end of the fourth form (Year 10 in real money, and money is the operative word), I had no clue what I wanted to do. Science was a bit of fun generally and by the start of A-levels, I had opted for the rather curious mix of maths, physics and technical drawing.
