In this activity children investigate which senses we use for exploring the world and suggest smells to create different moods.
Description
A new inhaler - dubbed Le Whiff - has been developed by scientists, allowing chocoholics to enjoy all the treats they can handle for zero calories. This activity is about the health benefits of inhaling the smell of chocolate rather than eating it.
Children will investigate which senses we use for exploring the world and make suggestions of smells to create different moods.
Learning Objective:
- which organs of our body we use to sense the world
Children will learn:
- that different smells can have different effects on people
- to record their ideas in words or pictures
