Description
The new 'How science works' area of the Practical Physics website enables students to explore the nature of science through case studies from the history of physics. Two exemplar experiments on motion are briefly described, which illustrate how Galileo arrived at an important physics principle. Other case studies available on the website are noted and their use discussed. The case studies show that science has no one method.
