A session at the zoo for upper primary school children to apply maths skills to a real-life context. This session explores how we use maths in our conservation work at the Zoo and out in the field. Students will learn about different conservation careers and will work in groups to tackle maths challenges related to those job roles. Each student is given their own specialised work book to use during the session, and take away at the end, so they continue to use the data collected back at school.
