The ASE has a small and dedicated core team, with a large network of committee members and wider membership making up a much larger team with reach across the UK and internationally. Our staff are passionate about helping to deliver excellence in science education.

• Holiday allowance of 25 days per year (FTE, pro rata for PT), plus statutory holidays (pro rata for PT) and time off in lieu (TOIL) arrangements for any out of hours working

Flexible working   

ASE staff work flexibly in a number of ways from part-time to flexible start and end times and hybrid working. We are also open to applications for job sharing. Current hybrid arrangements are one or two days working in the office in Hatfield as standard, but individual circumstances can be discussed.
