Winter 2014 (Issue 8) - The Journal of Emergent Science (JES) is a biannual publication produced by the Emergent Science Network that focuses on effective early years science practice. This issue's main article investigates how Children discover the world surrounding them from very early childhood, as they observe, listen and experience what is in their everyday environment. Further articles discuss understanding of species metamorphoses and young children’s views of creativity.
