Description

Research commissioned by SCORE (Science Community Representing Education), a collaboration including ASE, reports that there is a severe shortage in schools and colleges of essential resources for practical work in science. This has led to calls to safeguard practical science budgets, provide more support for technicians and ensure that there are better outdoor learning spaces. Two reports were published covering the issues at both primary and secondary level (SCORE, 2013a, 2013b).
